Mariner’s Education Group Enhanced with K-12 and Business Intelligence Expertise

Mariner, an industry-leading business intelligence and performance management solutions provider, welcomes four consultants to its Education Group. Van Scott joins as Senior Consultant, Aimee Nichols and Melissa Coats join as Consultants and Craig Hayward, Associate Consultant.

All are supporting improvements in data-driven decision making and student achievement for K-12 school districts and Departments of Education across the United States including Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Anson County Schools, Sacramento City Unified School District and the New Hampshire Department of Education.

Mariner’s newest team members have significant experience in K-12 education and business intelligence, data warehousing, and performance management systems.

• Van Scott will draw from his background in analytics, research and visualization to design data architectures.

• Aimee Nichols will draw from her experience in K-12 public education as a teacher, facilitator and administrator where she helped institute performance improvement programs, and worked with Curriculum and Instruction.

• Melissa Coates will use her business analysis, dashboard and scorecard skills – as well as her experience with customer training – to develop Mariner’s performance management solutions.

• Craig Hayward will apply his experience with education-focused ETL tools to support data integration efforts.
